GRA e-VAT POS in Ghana
GRA e-VAT on DwumaPOS goes out with a completed Ghana sale that includes the buyer’s TIN — not a separate tax app beside the POS.
Show TIN vs submit e-VAT
Show TIN on receipts only prints your TIN on the slip — that is not e-VAT submission. A completed Ghana sale with the buyer’s TIN can go to GRA after it is on the server.
Keep tax on the same POS
NHIL, GETFund, and VAT stay on the same retail day — not a second tax app after close. See the tax guide for the full checklist.
MoMo and e-VAT on one close
MoMo, cash, and card close on the retail sale first. e-VAT submission runs on the server after that sale is complete and includes the buyer’s TIN. Wallet prompts alone are not the tax record.

Does DwumaPOS support GRA e-VAT?
Yes. A completed sale with the buyer’s TIN can be submitted. Sales without a buyer TIN are not sent as e-VAT.
Is every MoMo sale sent to GRA?
No. Submission follows the e-VAT rules on the completed sale and buyer TIN — not every wallet prompt.
Do I need internet to submit GRA e-VAT?
Yes. e-VAT runs after the completed sale is on the server. Cash sales on POS Desktop still go through offline; tax submission waits for a connection.
