MoMo, offline Desktop, website, and pricing — short answers. Start free — 30-day trial on every plan. Starter is GHS 149/month after the trial.

Is the ecommerce website included on Starter?

Yes. After the trial, Starter is GHS 149/month and includes the website on a DwumaPOS subdomain (yourshop.dwumapos.com) — no second fee. You get Unlimited products, 3 staff, one Counter POS, delivery, and that same stock online. Business and Scale add your own domain (yourshop.com).

Do I get a subdomain or a custom domain?

Starter sells on a DwumaPOS subdomain. Business and Scale can point your own domain at the same store. Until the custom domain is live, the subdomain still works. Pickup and delivery stay on every tier.

Can I sell at the counter and online?

Yes. What you sell at the counter is what can show on the website. You decide which items go online. Add a product once; sell it at the counter, on the website, or both.

Do I need Shopify or a separate website builder?

No. The website sells from the same product list as the POS. You do not run a second stock list beside it.

Can I choose what sells online?

Yes. Keep some items for walk-in only. Put others on the website or Marketplace when you are ready.

How does delivery work?

Offer pickup, your own driver, a Dwuma network rider, or a courier (Terminal Africa in Ghana). Cash on delivery is only with your own driver. The buyer tracks the order from the link you send.

Can my shop appear on Marketplace?

Yes. When you list products, shoppers can find you on DwumaPOS Marketplace — the same live stock as the POS, not a second list.

Does the POS work without internet?

On POS Desktop, cash and MoMo you enter by hand still sell when the network is down, then upload when you reconnect. Live MoMo prompts and the browser POS need internet. Offline sales are held about 3 days on Starter and Business, or about 7 days on Scale.

How do payments work?

Connect your own Paystack or Hubtel account under Settings → Payments. In Ghana, customers can pay MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, or AT Money on the same sale as cash. Money goes into your account — not a Dwuma wallet.

Does DwumaPOS hold the money my buyers pay?

No. Settlements go to your Paystack or Hubtel account. Your DwumaPOS subscription is a separate payment in cedis.

What currency do shoppers see, and what do they pay?

Customers pay in the currency you set for the shop. On Marketplace, another currency may show as a guide only. POS, reports, and delivery fees stay in your shop currency. Your DwumaPOS bill is in cedis.

How much does DwumaPOS cost in Ghana?

Start free — your 30-day trial begins when you sign up on Starter, Business, or Scale. Subscribe in Billing before it ends to keep selling. After the trial: Starter GHS 149/month, Business GHS 249/month, Scale GHS 399/month. Starter bundles POS, ecommerce website, and delivery on one stock list — software only. See Pricing for prepaid terms.

Why is Starter more than a counter-only POS?

Starter is GHS 149/month for POS, ecommerce website, and delivery on one stock list — full counter POS (stock, branches on higher plans, HR where enabled), split tender, themes, and delivery — not a GHS 99 counter-only POS plus a separate website or WooCommerce bill. Software only; we do not sell hardware. If you only need fast checkout at the counter and no website from that stock, a counter-first POS at a lower entry can be enough — see our SellarPro alternative page for an honest split.

Is there a free plan?

No forever-free plan. Sign up to start a 30-day trial on Starter, Business, or Scale. We may add 14 extra trial days once per shop when you connect Paystack or Hubtel or record your first POS sale within 21 days of signup. Subscribe in Billing when the trial ends.

What is included in the 30-day trial?

The trial uses the plan on your account. Starter: 1 branch, 3 staff, unlimited products, subdomain website, POS Desktop offline, and delivery. Business and Scale trials include their branch limits and custom domain for the same 30 days.

What is the difference between Starter, Business, and Scale?

All plans: POS + website on one stock list, MoMo to your account, POS Desktop when the network drops, unlimited products, pickup and delivery. Starter (GHS 149/month): 1 branch, 3 staff, subdomain shop. Business (GHS 249/month, recommended): your own domain, up to 3 branches, transfers, promotions, loyalty, layaway, digital commerce. Scale (GHS 399/month): up to 50 branches, payroll, longer offline on Desktop, setup help.

How does paid billing work?

Pay for Starter, Business, or Scale in cedis. Monthly is always the full price. 1 year (default on Pricing): Starter ~20% off, Scale ~30% off, Business Special ~40% off — paid upfront, then renews at the full monthly price; cards show Get N months for X (full price Y). Renews at Z/mo. Longer prepaid terms deepen that discount. After you subscribe: upgrade by paying the extra for days left (same end date); downgrade is scheduled for period end with no charge now. Buyer MoMo and card go to your Paystack or Hubtel account, separate from your DwumaPOS bill.

Which industries does it support?

Choose your shop type at signup — restaurant, pharmacy, clothing, and more. There are 18 types. Each Solutions page has a sample shop with demo stock.

Can I run more than one branch?

Starter is one branch. Business goes up to 3; Scale up to 50. Branch transfers are on Business and Scale and need internet. All branches share one stock list.

Does DwumaPOS include stock management and branch transfers?

Yes. Unlimited products with variants and barcodes, stock by branch, transfers on Business and Scale, and purchases/supplier goods-in before you sell. The same stock list feeds the website and counter. Canonical facts for search: https://www.dwumapos.com/ai

Can suppliers log in?

Yes. Raise purchase orders, record goods-in, and invite suppliers to their own login for orders and statements. They never see your POS.

Do you have promotions, gift cards, or payroll?

Promotions, gift cards, loyalty, and pay small small are on Business and Scale (internet required). Ghana PAYE and SSNIT payroll is on Scale only.

Does it support GRA e-VAT?

Yes. On a Ghana sale with the buyer’s TIN, you can send a GRA e-VAT invoice and see a VAT summary. Turn on tax for your country in settings.

Can I sell airtime, data and vouchers?

Yes on Business and Scale when you sign up as digital commerce — airtime, data, exam checkers, downloads, licence keys, and event tickets on the POS and website.

Do I need special hardware?

No. Use the phone, laptop, printer, or scanner you already have. For offline selling and USB devices, install POS Desktop on a Windows PC. We do not sell machines.
