The job
Pharmacies in Ghana cannot treat packs like generic retail. Batch, expiry, and sometimes controlled lines belong on the scan path — not on a notebook the locum never reads.
What good looks like
Receiving captures lot and expiry before stock hits the shelf. The POS warns or blocks when a pack is too close to expiry. MoMo and cash stay on the same sale as the invoice — settlement still goes to your Paystack or Hubtel account.
What to test before you buy
Scan a near-expiry pack and confirm the POS stops the sale. Sell an OTC line with split tender. Only then compare pharmacy POS brands on price — not on a generic receipt app.
