Pickup and delivery
Your DwumaPOS subscription includes pickup and delivery tools (zones, fee rules, and order tracking). DwumaPOS calculates the delivery fee from your settings and adds it to the buyer’s total at checkout — the buyer pays it with the order. You collect those funds and pay your own riders or courier; DwumaPOS does not add a separate software fee per kilometre on top of your plan. On DwumaPOS, the Dwuma network is a shared pool of nearby riders you can turn on when your own drivers are busy. “Dwuma network riders” and “Dwuma riders” mean the same riders.

When a sale includes the buyer's TIN, DwumaPOS can send it to GRA e-VAT after the sale is saved online.

Keep selling when mobile data or Wi‑Fi fails. POS Desktop on Windows or Mac handles cash, receipts, and USB barcodes on that computer, then syncs when you are back online.

Questions
Is the online shop included on Starter?
Yes. After the 30-day trial, Starter is GHS 149/month. It includes an online shop on a DwumaPOS address (yourshop.dwumapos.com), with no second fee — all 34 themes included. You also get unlimited products, 3 staff logins, one POS and delivery on the same stock list. Business and Scale add your own domain (yourshop.com).
Can I sell in my shop and online?
Yes. Add a product once, then sell it in your shop, on your online shop, or both—you choose what goes online.
Can I sell medicines online in Ghana?
Selling medicines online in Ghana may require Pharmacy Council approval under the national ePharmacy framework — especially prescription-only products. DwumaPOS lets you choose which SKUs go online; your pharmacist and lawyer decide what is allowed for your licence. See the Pharmacy Council policy before you publish POM lines online. Does DwumaPOS hold the money my customers pay?
No. Payments go to your own Paystack or Hubtel account. Your DwumaPOS subscription is a separate payment, in cedis.
Does the POS work without internet?
On POS Desktop, cash sales continue when the network drops, and you can record MoMo after you confirm payment. Sales sync when the internet is back. Live Paystack or Hubtel checkout and the browser POS need a connection. Offline sales are kept for about 3 days on Starter and Business, and about 7 days on Scale.
How does delivery work?
You choose: pickup, your own rider, a Dwuma network rider, or a courier (Terminal Africa in Ghana). Cash on delivery works only with your own rider. Customers track the order from the link you send. Your DwumaPOS subscription includes pickup and delivery tools (zones, fee rules, and order tracking). DwumaPOS calculates the delivery fee from your settings and adds it to the buyer’s total at checkout — the buyer pays it with the order. You collect those funds and pay your own riders or courier; DwumaPOS does not add a separate software fee per kilometre on top of your plan.
How much does DwumaPOS cost in Ghana?
Start free. Your 30-day trial begins when you sign up, on Starter, Business or Scale. Subscribe in Billing before it ends to keep selling. After the trial: Starter GHS 149/month, Business GHS 249/month, Scale GHS 399/month.
Why not buy a cheaper POS?
A cheaper POS can be enough if you only need fast checkout in your shop and no online shop. Starter is GHS 149/month and includes a POS, an online shop and delivery, so you do not pay for a second tool. We sell software only, not machines.
Does DwumaPOS manage stock and branches?
Yes. You get unlimited products with sizes, colours and barcodes, stock for each branch, and records of stock when it arrives from suppliers. Starter is one branch with 3 staff logins. Business is up to 3 branches with 10 staff logins and transfers between branches. Scale is up to 10 branches with 25 staff logins and payroll. More than 10 branches? Ask about Enterprise custom solutions. The same stock list feeds your POS and your online shop.
Do I need special hardware?
No. Use the phone, laptop, printer or scanner you already have. For selling without internet and for USB devices, install POS Desktop on Windows or Mac. We do not sell machines.
