Privacy Policy

How DwumaPOS collects and uses merchant and platform data.

1. What we collect

Account and business profile details, sales and inventory data, online shop content, payment references (not full card numbers), support messages, device/app diagnostics, and technical logs needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use data

To provide POS, online shop, billing, support, security, fraud prevention, and product improvement. We do not sell your customer lists.

3. Sharing

We share data with payment providers, hosting, email, analytics, and compliance partners only as needed to run the Service, or when required by law. BYOK PSP traffic is governed by your agreement with that provider.

4. Cookies & similar technologies

We use essential cookies for login and security, and limited analytics to understand product usage. Details are in our Cookie Policy. You can control non-essential cookies in your browser where applicable.

5. Retention

We retain account and transaction data while your workspace is active and for a limited period after closure for legal, tax, and fraud purposes.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal data subject to legal retention needs. Contact platform support to exercise these rights.

7. Security

We use industry-standard controls including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission is 100% secure.

8. International transfers

Data may be processed in regions where our hosting and subprocessors operate. We use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers where required. Merchants acting as controllers should review our Data Processing Addendum.

9. Children

The Service is directed at businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children for marketing accounts.

10. Changes & contact
